Neil Robertson, age 92, passed away on Thursday, August 4, 2011. Preceded in death by parents, S.F. & Katherine Robertson, wife of 69 years Annie K. (Kitty) Robertson, son, Kelley F. Robertson, brother S.F. Robertson, Jr. Survived by loving daughter Jayne R. (David IV) Andrews, grandchildren David Andrews V, Neeley Kelley Andrews, Kelley Anne Andrews, Neil Robertson Andrews, nephew Steve (Linda) Robertson, special family Justin and Sarah Pruitt and children, special friends Marion Reeks, Tina Hoke, Gus Fowler, Frank Kelly, Jo and Gene Gillipsie, Bill Keith and many others. He was born November 11, 1918 in Kingston Springs, TN. Started his law practice in 1940, County Judge for Cheatham County from 1950 to Sept. 1966 and served as Director and Board Chairman of Ashland City Bank & Trust Company for many years. While county judge, he brought Acme Boot and State Stove (A.O. Smith) to the county, built the original county Nursing Home and created Pleasant View Utility District, South Cheatham Utility District, East Montgomery Utility District and River Road Utility District. He was a member of the Ashland City United Methodist Church since 1936. A private memorial service will be planned at a later date. Boyd Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
