Ruth Marie Smith

Ruth Marie Smith, age 84, of Ashland City, TN, went to be with our Lord, on Friday, March 31, 2023.

Marie was born on September 15, 1938, in Monroe County, MO, to the late Delbert Dailey and Lutie Pollard Dailey. In addition to her parents, Marie was preceded in death by her brother, Billy Dailey. She is survived by her loving husband, Herbert Franklin Smith; daughters, Lori (Trent) Maupin, Carol (Tim) Bennett; brothers, Richard Dailey, Roger Dailey; grandchildren, Ryan (Crystal) Maupin, Meridith (Jason) Axt, Kyle Maupin, Carissa (Wes) Fox, Rachel (Elliot) Huck, Tyler (Kelsie) Maupin, Jonathan (Bethann) Bennett; great grandchildren, Caelum Maupin, Lachlan Maupin, Nathaniel Axt, Ezekiel Axt, Titus Axt, Anina Axt, Maliyah Fox, Marlee Fox, Jayce Fox, McKenna Fox, Liam Fox, Reuben Bennett, Lorien Bennett and Ruth Bennett.

Marie was a member of The Crossroad Church, in Ashland City, TN. She loved quilting, sewing, reading, cooking, and most of all she loved her family.

Funeral services will; be held on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Boyd Funeral Home with Pastor Trent Maupin officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until the hour of service. Family and friends will be pallbearers.
