Ronnie Dayon Knight

Ronnie Dayon Knight, age 75, of Springfield, TN, passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2022, at Ascension St. Thomas Midtown Hospital in Nashville, TN.

Ronnie was born on January 6, 1947, in Springfield, TN to the late Gordon H. Knight and Avle Ellis. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Sue Knight; brother, Donald Knight; sisters, Annet Van, Helen Reeder and Joyce McKinney. He is survived by his son, Cody (Amy) Knight; daughter, Candy (Johnny) Taylor; sisters, Jane Watts, Dott Biggs; grandchildren, Kymberly Baisden (J.B.), Issac (Jon Cosper) Rigsby; and great grandchildren, Chloee, Zoee, Keely and Jensen.

Ronnie was a nature enthusiast that loved anything outdoors. He loved farming, farm animals, muscle cars, old western movies, and bluegrass music. He had a green thumb and enjoyed mowing his lawn, and very was particular about how that was done, and he loved his family. He will be dearly missed and forever loved.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 9, 2022, at 1:00 PM at the chapel of Boyd Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until the hour of service.
