Ray Cruz

Ray Cruz, 52, passed away, Monday, August 22, 2022, at his home in Clarksville, Tennessee.

Ray was born on July 9^th, 1970, in Chicago, Illinois to the late Patricia and Luis “Tony” Cruz. He is survived by his wife, Kris; his brothers Tony and Joe; his children, Erica, Patty, Felicia, and Kevin; his grandchildren, Christopher, Bryson, Alicen, Gunner, Maddex, Amyah, Javier, and Ahlaya.

Ray was a charitable and loving man who was quick-witted, who had an amazing sense of humor, and was committed to helping others in the community. He was a dedicated father and husband. Ray loved kayaking, fishing, and camping as much as he loved being a part of his local Chive chapter, Clarksville Chive. His charitable donations can be seen throughout the community, he was especially passionate about keeping the coffee bar constantly stocked at the Clarksville VA Clinic waiting room.

A Celebration of Ray's life will be held on Saturday, September 3^rd, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Boyd Funeral Home in Ashland City, TN.
