Peggy Hudgens Sewell

Peggy (Hudgens) Sewell passed away on Feb. 11, 2021, after an extended illness. She was 90-yrs-old. Services will be held at Bethel FWB Church, 2400 Mosley Ferry Rd on Sun., Feb 21th. (Visitation 1:30-2pm, Memorial 2-2:45pm, Burial 3pm). Peggy enjoyed nurturing her family, including parents- Leonard and Bertie Hudgens; siblings; Charlie Mae Douglas, Ruby Duke, and Harvey Hudgens; husband- John Sewell; children- Richard and Cathy Hill, Jennifer Hill- and Rathe Karrer, Timothy and John Daniel Bracey, Sharon and Donald Croslin, Dale and Cynthia Sewell; 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She was also dedicated to Christian service, including the Gideons. “Granny Peg” will be remembered as a beautiful, creative and intelligent woman.
