Pauline L. Headley

Pauline Lucille Headley, 95 of Ashland City, began her life on May 12, 1923, the second daughter of six born to parents Arthur Leroy and Clara J. Bradshaw in Wellington, Kansas. She went home with the Lord on December 1, 2018. Pauline lived a full loving life. She started her working career as a single parent working as a Nurse’s Aide, then went back to school while working and raising four daughters, to obtain a Medical Secretary License. She worked numerous years as a Doctor’s Assistant with the now deceased Dr. F.J. Hagan, and completed her working career at the age of 86 with Dr. Douglas Livingston in Wichita, KS. Pauline loved to read, crochet beautiful pieces and being a mother and Grandmother. Pauline was a life member of the Methodist Church. She moved from Wichita to Staunton, VA to live with her daughter Caroline in 2015 and then to Ashland City, TN. to live with daughter Bonnie. Pauline loved the loved the beautiful mountains and mountain air of the Eastern Southern States. Pauline is preceded in death by her parents, sisters; Dorothy Winters, Mildred Headley and Leona Clarno, Daughter; Marlene Headley Crum and Great Great Grandson Brantley Ratcliff. She is survived by sisters; Verlene Miller and Vonda Bradshaw, Daughters; Carolyn Rexrode, Betty Rifford (George) and Bonnie Stanley, 5 Grandchildren, 5 step- Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren, 9 Step Great Grandchildren, 1 Great Great Grandchild, 6 Step-Great Great Grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She will be missed and remembered by many loved ones and friends. The family wants to extend their appreciation to The Waters of Cheatham, Asera Care Hospice and the Boyd Funeral Home for the wonderful love and care they gave Pauline. A celebration of Pauline’s life will be held at a later date. Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Asera Care Hospice or your favorite charity.
