Nellie Simpkins

Nellie Simpkins -Age 94 – passed away at her home on Sunday March 28, 2021. She was born in Robertson County on November 29, 1926 to the late Mr. James Marshall leek and Mrs. Nannie Bursby Leek. She is survived by her husband Mr. Arnold Simpkins, sons: Jeffrey (Sherri Paulk) Simpkins, Steven, and Gary (Fe) Simpkins; Daughters: Linda Moore and Barbara (Don) Morgan; Sisters: Mary Bass and Martha Ralph; and grandchildren: Eric Simpkins, Shirley Langford, Daniel Simpkins, Catie Simpkins, Chris Hensley, Kevin Hensley, Ralph Morgan, Ronnie Morgan, Timothy Morgan, Robert Morgan, and Tammy Morgan; great grand children: Fiona Langford, Jack Hensley, and Charlie Hensley. Along with her parents Mrs. Simpkins is also preceded in death by her brother James Leek, and sister Jewell Jakes and Great-Ganddaughter Sophia Langford. Visitation will be held at Boyd Funeral Home on Wednesday March 31, 2021 from 4-7pm and on Thursday April 1, 2021 from 11 am till the time of services.
