Michael Dean Smith

Michael Dean Smith, age 36, of Chapmansboro, TN, passed away on Saturday, April 29, 2023, at his residence surrounded by his family.

Michael was born on November 6, 1986, in Muncie, Indiana to Dicky Ray Smith and Ellen Marie Sisco Smith. Michael is survived by his parents, Dicky and Ellen Smith; wife, Jennifer Smith; mother-in-law, Amy (David) McKinney; sons, Leon Smith, Wesley Smith; daughter, Elizabeth Bryce; brother, Eric Smith; aunt, Barbara Russell, uncles, Bill William (Tammy) Sisco; Johnny (Janet) Sisco, Rick Smith; nieces: Jocelyn Angleton, Lillian Smith and nephews, Kaden Smith and Jayce Angleton.

Michael played football and was a graduate of Cheatham County High School and worked as a machinist for AO Smith for 16 years. Michael was a loving father and husband.  An avid video gamer who loved playing video games with his children and attending concerts with his brother.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, May 4, 2023, at 3:00 PM at the chapel of Boyd Funeral Home with Rev. John Mark Thomas officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until the hour of service.
