Margaret Ann Cox

Mrs. Margaret Ann Cox, age 85, of Madison, TN passed away at her home on May 9, 2022 Margaret was born on November 24, 1936, in Ashland City, TN to the late Samuel Elijah Hooper and Jeppie Mabel Gill Hooper. She is survived by her sons, Vernon Cox (Dorothy Smith) of Madison, TN and Robert Cox of Madison, TN; daughter, Laura Sitz of Madison, TN; 12 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 22 years Alva Edward Cox, brothers; Lanell Hooper and Vernon Hooper, sisters; Mai Ward, Mary McCord Hooper, and Lurleen Hooper Morris. Visitation at Boyd Funeral Home: Thursday, May 12, 2022, 4:00pm-8:00pm Friday, May 13, 2022, 10:00am-2:00pm Funeral Services will be held from the chapel of Boyd Funeral Home on Friday, May 13, 2022, at 2:00pm Burial will follow at Greenbrier Church of Christ Cemetery in Ashland City, TN
