Lynda Jean VanTassel

Lynda Jean VanTassel, age 78, of Ashland City, TN passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, TN. 

Lynda was born on May 12, 1945, in Washington State to the late Clarence M. Poeling and Polly A. Boswell Poeling. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Alvin E. VanTassel, and brothers, Harvey Poeling and Patrick Poeling. She is survived by her sons, Timotey Andrew Jennings, Eric Anthony (Jennifer) VanTassel; daughters, Tammy Mae Corbitt, Crystal (Zackary) Powers; brother, Steve Poeling; sister, Paulette Crain and 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. 

Lynda was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She loved her children and grandchildren dearly as well as her chihuahua “Prissy.”  She loved the outdoors, fishing, food, and cooking. She will be dearly missed by all that knew her and loved her. 

A private memorial service will be held by her family.
