Lavon Binkley Blankenship

Lavon Binkley Blankenship, 88, of Madison, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, September 6, 2022.

She was born in Ashland City, oldest daughter of the late Andy and Laura Binkley. She went back to school at 40 years old to become a Licensed Practical Nurse for 15 years then back to school to get her RN. She practiced nursing for 25 years at Tennessee Christian where she met her loving husband Paul Howard Blankenship. She loved her family, gardening, cooking and her dog Buddy.

She is survived by their children Shirley (Joe) Springman, Robert Perry, Paula Glover, Karen (Herbie) Boren, Kevin (Alison) Blankenship, Mary (Vas) Mihailoff and Maxine (Roy) Rubick. Numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Penny Binkley and Dorothy Jones; brothers, Billy, Tommy, Lanace and Jimmy Binkley. She will be lovingly remembered by sisters; Betty (Joe) Summar, Marilyn Nagy, Ruth (Tim) Robertson, Frances (Bill) Chafin, Elizabeth Stanley and brother, Steve (Linda) Binkley.
