Lavanna Faye Munn

Mrs. Lavanna Faye Munn, age 91 of Ashland City passed away on December 17, 2021. She was a resident of the Vantage Point At Marrowbone Heights. Mrs. Munn was born to Elmer and Millie Cochran Carter of Aplan, Arkansas on November 19, 1930. She had 9 siblings. "Faye" as she was known, was married to CW3 John Paul Munn for 71 years and they had two daughters. Mrs. Munn worked as a dental assistant for Dr. Jerald Linsey in Clarksville, Tn. She was a member of the Clarksville Garden Club, the Clarksville Saddle Club, and the Home Demonstration Club. Faye was also a member of the Hilldale Church of Christ in Clarksville as well as the Ashland City Church of Christ. Mrs. Munn is preceded in death by her husband John, her parents and 6 of her nine siblings. Those remaining to cherish her memory include her Daughters Brenda Kay Simpkins (Bobby) of Ashland City and Connie Lynn McCaulty also of Ashland City. Mrs. Munn is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Graveside services will be conducted on Wednesday December 22, 2021 at 11a.m. at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West Located in Hopkinsville, KY. with Elder Wayne Pickly of Ashland City Church of Christ Officiating. Honored to serve as her Pallbearers will be her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Arrangements are under the direction of Boyd Funeral Home of Ashland City.
