Katherine Amelia Williams

Katherine Amelia Williams, age 79, of Ashland City, TN, passed away on December 26, 2022, at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, OK.

Katherine was born on August 14, 1943, in Cheatham County, TN to the late Clarence Hoover Shivers and Margret Louis Brown. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ferrell Garvis Williams; brothers, Clarence Hoover (Linda) Shivers, Jr., and Glenn Shivers. She is survived by her sons, Brandon (Misty) Williams of Chandler, OK, Shannon (Melinda) Williams of Chapmansboro, TN; daughter, Chris (Darrell) Dean, of Dickson, TN; grandchildren, Alexandria (Jeremy) Williams Gibbs, Adrianna (Bryce) Williams, Ashton Williams, Jacob Williams, Tyler (Kane) Dean McGee, Brody Dean, Blake (Sidney) Williams, Bret (Paige) Castle, Alyssa Castle, Gage Smith, and sister-in-law, Linda Shivers.

Born and raised in Cheatham County, Katherine raised her family and was a beautician for over 50 years. She serviced the Cheatham County area, to include the area nursing homes and Boyd Funeral Home doing what she loved. When she was not doing hair, her other calling was being a grandmother. Katherine was a loving and devoted Daughter, Sister, Mother, Grandmother and Friend.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 31, 2022, at 1:00 PM at the chapel of Boyd Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Fox officiating. Visitation will be Friday, December 30, 2022, from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM and again on Saturday, December 31, 2022, from 12:00 PM until the hour of service. Katherine will be laid to rest at Felts Cemetery in Ashland City, TN

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Ashland City Church of Christ Youth Program.
