June Rachel Wall

June Rachel Wall – Age 82 – of Ashland City, TN, passed away on Saturday May 8, 2021, at Alive Hospice in Nashville, TN. Rachel was born on Thursday July 14, 1938, to the late Howard and Peggy (Nicks) Batey. She is survived by her son Randall (Fay) Wall, daughter Diane (Steve) Saunders, brother Gary Batey, and sisters Sherry Clodfelter, Nancy Cox, and Linda Ward. She is also survived by four grandchildren Nathan (Nicole) Wall, Phillip (Stacey) Wall, Stephanie Saunders, and Courtney Saunders, two great grandchildren Anna Wall and Ashton Wall. Along with her parents she is also preceded in death by her husband of 64 years Macon Morris Wall; brothers: Paul, Dudley, and Stanley Batey; sisters: Jean Chamberlain and Janice Ward. Rachel retired from the H D Lee Company. She loved to cook, and she always set an elegant table for family dinners. She also enjoyed working in her beautiful flowerbeds. The one-day visitation will be at the Boyd Funeral Home 101 Elizabeth St. Ashland City, TN on Thursday May 27, 2021 from 10:00 am until the time of services at 12:00 pm, with Bro. Pete Krantz officiating. She will be laid to rest next to her husband Macon Morris Wall at the Stewart/Wall Cemetery. Arrangements by the Boyd Funeral Home.
