Jannie Lois Reeves

Jannie Lois Reeves, 84, of Hendersonville, Tennessee, passed away on November 17, 2022, at NHC Hendersonville.  She was born July 19, 1938, in Lebanon, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Ray L. and Lula Belle Laster.  She was the widow of James Travis Reeves.  They shared 42 years of marriage together.  She graduated from Hume Fogg High School and retired from Bordeaux Hospital, where she worked as a payroll specialist.

She is survived by children James T. Smith, Jerry (Ruthie) Smith, Isaac (May) Smith, Cindy Smith, Betty (Tom) Barnett, Jim (Shelly) Reeves; 15 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and brothers Kenny (Debbie) Laster and Jerry Ray (Gail) Laster, and sister Linda (Frank) Konkal.

She was preceded in death by husband James T. Reeves; son Alan Smith, sister Mary Jones, and brothers Robert Laster and James Laster.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, November 21, 2022, at 12:00 PM in the chapel of Boyd Funeral Home, with Pastor John Summers officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the hour of service. Jannie will be laid to rest at Neptune-Smith Cemetery in Ashland City, TN.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Smith, Tommy Smith, Austin Reeves, Chris Barnett, Jim Reeves, and Isaac Smith.
