Jane Farmer Horton

Jane Farmer Horton, age 85, passed away on Sunday, March 12, 2023, at her residence.

Jane was born on January 3, 1938, in Ashland City, TN, to the late John W. Farmer and Lular Pellam Farmer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Horton; Son, Johnny Horton; Brother, Leon Farmer; Sisters, Ester Alcorn, and Mary Smith. She is survived by her sons, Danny S. (Sherry) Horton Gregory (Susan) Horton and Donald L. (Cathy) Horton; her sister, Ruth Walker; 8 grandchildren, Katie, John, Catherine, Kayla, Rachel, Theo, Matthew, and Kelsey; 4 great grandchildren, Garrett, Mitchell, J.R., and Noli.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, March 16^th at 11:00 AM, At Free Will Baptist Church, Ashland City, TN with Rev. Wayne Bess officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 15^th from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Thursday from 9:00 AM until the hour of service.  Jane will be laid to rest at Pleasant View Methodist Church Cemetery.
