James Frank Powers, Sr.

James Frank "Frankie" Powers, Sr., 70, passed away on July 1, 2023. He was born on February 14, 1953, in Ashland City, Tennessee. 

Frank, also known as Frankie, was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was preceded in death by his father, James "Jim" B. Powers and brother, Andrew Todd Powers (Holly). He is survived by his wife, Clara Roman (Powers), his mother, Doye Lattimer, his sister, Mary Glasgow (Mike), his children, Frank Powers, Jr. (Kandy), Jeremy Powers (Tammy), Crystal Parker (Roger), Stevi Warner (Bryan), and his grandchildren, Sam Powers, Max Powers, Lily Powers, Lexy Reed, Adalyn Hicks, Triton Parker, Braxton Parker, and great-granddaughter, Ellie Benefield.  

Frankie served in the United States Army Reserve, dedicating his time and skills to his country.

A visitation will be held at Boyd Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 5, 2023, from 4 pm until 8 pm. A memorial service to celebrate Frankie's life will be held at Boyd Funeral Home on Thursday, July 6, 2023, at 10:00 am. Following the service, Frankie will be laid to rest at Ever Rest of Cheatham in Pleasant View, Tennessee.

Frankie will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. May his soul rest in eternal peace.

Pall Bearers will be Sam Powers, Max Powers, William Glasgow, Roger Parker, Mariah Hicks, and Micheal Crowell.
