Ina Nell Morrell

Ms. Ina Nell Morrell age 84 of Dickson County passed away on Thursday February 10, 2022 at Tristar Horizon Medical Center in Dickson. She was born In Rogersville, Tn on May 6, 1938 to Mr. Chris C. Bailey and Mrs. Maude M. Cody Bailey. She was married to her husband Frank Edwin Morrell, Sr. for 65 years and together they raised a family and created a legacy to be proud of. Mrs. Morrell was employed as a manufacturer in a book bindery for more than 30 years at the time of her retirement. Ina was a resident of Dickson county for 25 years and before that lived in Davidson County for 25 years. She was of the Methodist faith and was a member of the Jackson Chapel Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents Chris and Maude, one brother Milford Bailey, twin sister Iva Buchanan, and sisters Mildred Bradley, Betty Chandler and Jane Barbour. Remaining her to cherish her memory are her husband Frank E. Morrell, Sr., Sons Eddie Morrell(Bridget) of Charlotte and Johnny Morrell of Charlotte. One daughter Delores(Wayne)Smith of Smyrna and one sister Faye Henegar of Rogersville. Mrs. Morrell is also survived by 6 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Graveside services will be conducted on Monday February 14, 2022 at 11a.m. in the Jackson Chapel Cemetery located in Charlotte. Her family is honored to serve as pallbearers. In Lieu of flowers the family suggests making a donation to the Alzheimer's Association of Nashville in honor of Mrs. Ina. Services are under the direction of Boyd Funeral Home of Ashland City.
