George Edgar Hoffman Sr.

Mr. George Edgar Hoffman Sr. age 71, of Ashland City, TN passed away on April 21, 2022. He was born on October 27,1950 in Kansas City, MO to the late George Hoffman and Gladys Claxon Hoffman. Mr. Hoffman was a talented musician who used that gift to enrich the lives of those in nursing homes, assisted living facilities and through a prison ministry. He loved playing guitar, fishing, carpentry work, canning, painting and visiting with people. He is survived by his wife Larraine Hoffman; son, George Hoffman Jr. (Sherrie); stepdaughter, Blake Waffird (Daniel); brothers, Raymond Hoffman (Wilma), Darrell Hoffman (Judy); sister, Roberta Gilliam (LVangle); 3 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Donald Hoffman, and sister Patsy Zornes Visitation will be at Boyd Funeral Home on Monday, April 25, 2022 from 4:00pm - 8:00pm and again on Tuesday from 10:00am until the time of service. Funeral Services will be at Boyd Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 26th at 2:00pm with burial to follow at Bethlehem Cemetery on Hwy 12.
