Earl B Nixon

Mr. Earl B Nixon, age 94, of Ashland City, TN passed away at his residence on March 8, 2022. Mr. Nixon was born on May 17, 1927, in Alexandria, TN. to Roy Nixon and Drucilla Ligon Nixon. He proudly served his country by serving in The United States Army where he received a WWII Victory Medal. Mr. Nixon is survived by his daughters, Melanie (Peter) Koptik of Ada, MI, and Bonnie (Doug) Mitchell of Ashland City, TN., sister, Gladys Ashburn, Nashville, TN., grandchildren, Rachael (Tom Freeman) Koptik, Max Koptik, great grandchildren, Camden Freeman, and Cleo Freeman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, June Nixon, daughter Pamela Nixon, sisters Marie Reed and Daisy Reynolds, brothers, J.L. Nixon and Thomas Nixon. Visitation with the family will be in The Chapel of Boyd Funeral Home on Saturday, March 12, 2022, from 10:00am until the time of service. Funeral Services will be held in The Chapel of Boyd Funeral Home on Saturday March 12, 2022, at 12:00pm with Mike Richardson serving as minister. The burial will follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. Services are under the direction of Boyd Funeral Home in Ashland City.
