David Paul Bracey

David Paul Bracey Sr. - Age 67 - passed away at tri-Star of Nashville, TN on Saturday May 29, 2021. David was born in Nashville, TN on Wednesday February 10, 1954 to the late Mr. Wayne Bracey and Mrs. Lura Dean (Perry) Bracey. He is survived by his wife of 48 years Diane Bracey; sons: David Paul (Kim) Bracey Jr. and Jeremy Wayne Bracey; brothers: Dean (Carol) Bracey, Perry (Kim) Bracey; sister: Jan (Larry) Atkinson and Debra Wilbur. He is also survived by 2 grandchildren, Katey Bracey and Landon Bracey. Along with his parents he is also preceded in death by his grandparents, B. Perry and Louise Perry, Felix and Lula Myrtle Bracey, and his brother Michael Wayne Bracey. David loved people, his grandchildren were the light of his life. He loved sitting back and watching the deer, turkey's and hummingbirds that would come out of the woods at his home. He also worked as a maintenance technician for Hampton Inn Suites where he retired from. Visitation will be held at Boyd Funeral Home on Thursday June 3, 2021 from 10 am until the time of services. Services will be held from the Chapel of Boyd Funeral Home on Thursday June 3, 2021 at 1:00 pm with Stanley Woodall officiating and Archie Adams reading the Eulogy. A burial will follow at Harpeth Hill Memorial Gardens at 3:30 pm. In lieu of flowers donations maybe made to www.HarmonyFamilyCenter.org Arrangements made by Boyd Funeral Home.
