Cecil Demonbreun

Cecil Demonbreun – Age 79 – passed away on Tuesday June 3, 2020. Mr. Demonbreun was born in Ashland City, TN on Wednesday August 28, 1940 to the late Hubert and Ora Lee (Cothern) Demonbreun. He is survived by his wife Rachel (Norwood) Demonbreun; daughters Lisa (Pat) Davis and Deana Demonbreun. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Along with his parents he is also preceded in death by brothers; Etny, Hudson, Clifford, Rhuand, Leland and Buford Earl: sisters; Lillie Mae, Eula, Ruth, Betty Jean and Mildred. Cecil operated Cecil’s Texaco and West Nashville Texaco for many years. He was a Mason, Scottish Rite, Al Menah Shriner, member of Bellevue United Methodist Church and Alzheimer’s Association Sunny Day Club (Bellevue). Pallbears will be Chris V. Davis, Derrick Davis, Brady Davis, Mike Clark, Lamar Clark, Bruce Clark, Keith Norwood and Leslie Demonbreun. Honorary pallbears are Cheatham County High class of 59’. Visitation will be held on Friday June 5, 2020 from 12pm till the time of services. Services will be held at 2pm from the chapel of Boyd Funeral Home with a burial to follow at Bethlehem Cemetery in Ashland City. Arrangements made by Boyd Funeral Home.
