Billy Joe Pelfrey

Billy Joe Pelfrey, 71, of Lebanon, TN passed away on Monday, November 7, 2022, at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, TN.

Billy was born on November 28, 1950, in Rockwood, TN the late Martin Fletcher Pelfrey and Amanda Esther Page. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, John Pelfrey, Richard Pelfrey, Ray Pelfrey, Martin Fletcher Pelfrey, Jr., sister, Betty Jean Pelfrey Steele and best friend, Henry Martin. He is survived by his sons, James Martin Pelfrey, Jermey Lynn Whitaker; daughters, Billie Jo Pelfrey Townsend, Brandy Pelfrey; 11 grandchildren, 1 great grandbaby on the way and caretaker, Beverly Martin.

Billy was a Marine Corps Veteran. A very humble man who love old John Wayne movies and God.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Monday, November 14, 2022, at 2:00 PM at the chapel of Boyd Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM until the hour of service. Interment will be Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery in Pergram, TN, at a later date.
