Betty Sue Demonbreun, 72 of Ashland City, passed away on the evening of December 31st, 2018 at her home. She was born on July 24, 1946 in Cheatham County to the late Theodore and Addie Mae (Lane) Hollis. Betty is survived by her daughter Donna (Robert) Balthrop, sister Dot (Jerry) Noe, brothers Roger (Kathleen), Demonbreun, Leslie (Betty Jane) Demonbreun, Douglas (Christine) Demonbreun and Mike (Brenda) Demonbreun, grandchildren Stephanie (Sean) Stevens, Ashley (Aaron) Hatcher, Jessica (Brandon) Simmons, Justin (Roxanne) Demonbreun and Lesley Walker, nine great grandchildren ,with several nieces and nephews. With special thanks to special friends Betty Romans and Faye Bailey. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, husband William Don Demonbreun, son Jimmy Don Demonbreun, brothers Lewis, Bill, Howard and Benny Hollis, sister Alene Allen. Betty always liked to work out in her flowers and loved to keep her yard mowed while she was able, and when she took a break she would have her favorite treat, ice cream. Betty will be missed by all who knew her, Visitation for Betty Demonbreun will be at the Boyd Funeral Home on Wednesday January 2nd 2019 from 4:00 pm till 8:00 pm and on Thursday from 11:00 am until the time of her service at 1:00 pm with Bro. Barry Raper and Jeremy Whitworth officiating. Burial will follow at the Bethlehem Cemetery on Hwy. 12 in Ashland City.
