Obituary for Hollis Wilson Rose Hollis W. Rose, age 85 Ashland City, passed away the morning of Dec. 23, 2011 surrounded by his supportive family. Hollis is survived by his loving wife Flora Belle Rose of Ashland City, daughter Shelia (Paul) Mundy of Joelton, granddaughter Rose (Jeremiah) Pack of Franklin and brother Bradford (Helen) Rose of Ashland City. Hollis was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. He leaned on the Lord for his strength, and he has been a Christian example for everyone who has known him. He served in the military as a SGT in World War II. Visitation will be held at Boyd Funeral Home on Sat. Dec. 24 from 2-8 p.m.; Sun. Dec. 25 3-7 p.m. and Mon. Dec. 26 from 10 -11 a.m. Funeral Services will be held at Boyd Funeral Home on Mon. Dec. 26 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in the Bearwallow Church of Christ Cemetery. Pallbearers are Bobby Jackson, Robert Rose, George McMinnis, Donnie McCool, Steven Pack, and Wayne Nooner. Honorary Pallbearers are Vance Mayo, Earl Denney, and Jack Mayo. The family entrusted Boyd Funeral Home with the arrangements.
