Tillie Sue Walker

Talitha "Tillie" Walker age 80, passed away on Saturday March 31, 2012 at the St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, TN. She was born on December 23, 1931 in Ashland City, TN to the late Robert and Grace (Warden) Carney. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Charles Homer Walker. Mrs Walker is survived by her sons William Curtis of Whites Creek,TN. Ray Curtis of Scottsboro, TN. daughters Sue (Ronnie) Knight of Ashland City, TN. Lois (Barney) Rush of LaVergne, TN. Joyce Becker of Nashville, TN. Nancy Braddy-Hill of Fairview, TN. Trina (Kelly) Kirkham of Nashville,TN. and Brenda Hutchinson of Utah, brothers Don Carney of Ashland City,TN. and Issac Carney of Louisville, KY. and sister Margie Frizzell of Hendersonville, TN. Miss Tillie was very special to her twenty five grandchildren, her forty great grandchildren, and her six great-great grandchildren. Tillie Walker served many years as a nurse in the Bordeaux Hospital. Visitation for Tillie Walker will be at the Boyd Funeral Home, 101 Elizabeth St. in Ashland City, TN. on Tuesday April 3, 2012 from 4 - 8pm, Wednesday the 4th from 10am - 8pm, and on Thursday the 5th from 9 - 11am. The Funeral Service for Tillie Walker will be from the Chapel of the Boyd Funeral Home on Thursday April 5th at 11:00am. Burial will follow at the Spring Hill Cemetery on Gallatin Rd. in Nashville,TN.
