Harvey Edward Latimer, age 86 of Ashland City, TN died Saturday, June 23, 2012 at the Hillcrest Healthcare Center in Ashland City, TN. He is survived by his wife Doye Latimer of Ashland City, TN; sons Andrew Todd (Holly)Powers and James Frank (Clara) Powers; daughter Mary (Mike) Glasgow all of Ashland City, TN; 6 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren and nephews Bill Latimer of Gallatin, TN and Jim Latimer of Goodlettsville, Tn. Visitation with the family was held at Boyd Funeral Home on Sunday, June 24, 2012 from 5 - 8 p.m. and on Monday, June 25, 2012 from noon - 2 p.m. Funeral services were held at Boyd Funeral Home on Monday, June 25, 2012 at 2 p.m. with Bro. Sam Creed officiating. Interment followed in the Ever Rest Memorial Gardens. Family and friends served as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the MCHRA Meals on Wheels, 104 Ruth Drive Ashland City, TN. The family entrusted Boyd Funeral Home with the arrangements.
