Obituary for Ruth Ann Beckham Ruth Ann Beckham, age 60 died Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at Alive Hospice at St. Thomas in Nashville, TN. She is survived by her son Bobby Shrum, daughter by heart Sherry Mullins, brothers David "Corndog" (Emma) Merrit, Jimmy "Fatboy" (Billie) Roberson and 19 grandchildren. Visitation with the family was held on Friday, July 20, 2012 at Boyd Funeral Home from 11 a.m. - 8 p.m. and on Saturday, July 21, 2012 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Funeral services were held on Saturday, July 21, 2012 at Boyd Funeral Home at 2 p.m. with James Morris and Mark Felts officiating. Interment followed in the Forest Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers were David Wayne Merritt, Chris "Festus" Jones, Steven Mullins, Nick Parkhurst, Jack Lingner, and Buster Patterson. Honorary pallbearers were Justin Shrum, Austin Jones, Dalton Shrum, Cameron Tucker, and Rick Richardi. The family entrusted Boyd Funeral Home with the arrangements.
