James Henry Thomas age 79 of Pleasant View, TN was born to parents Jim and Katie Mae (Gregory) Thomas on March 09, 1933 in Manchester, TN. He died on November 06, 2012 at the White Haven Assisted Living Center in Adam's, TN. James Thomas is preceded in death by his parents, and is survived by his wife Delores (McCullough) Thomas of Pleasant View, TN, son James H. Thomas ll of Fort Myers, FL, daughters Charlie Linnear of Pleasant View, TN, and Cyndi Cliburn of Fort Myers, FL. James had three brothers Claude, Jackie, and Mike Thomas, all of Manchester, TN and sisters Vicki Gilley of Manchester, TN and Virginia Lewis of La Vergne, TN. Visitation for James Thomas will be at the Boyd Funeral Home in Ashland City, TN on Wednesday November 7 from 6pm - 8pm, and on Thursday the 8th from 9am - 11am. The Funeral Service for Mr. James Henry Thomas will be from the Chapel of the Boyd Funeral Home on Thursday November 08, 2012 at 11:00am with Bro. Chris Royalty officiating. Burial will follow at the Ever Rest of Cheatham Memorial Gardens in Pleasant View, TN. Mr. Thomas served in the United States Air Force.
