Maxine B. King

Maxine King age 72 died on December 23, 2012 at her home in Ashland City, TN. She was born to parents L.Q. and Juanita (Nutt) Bennett on April 07, 1940 in Ripley, MS. Maxine is survived by sons Michael Bennett King of Ashland City, TN, James Earl King of Charlotte, TN, and Timothy King of Pleasant View, TN. She had two brothers Eddie Quinn Bennett of Ripley, MS, Ronnie Joe Bennett of Potts Camp, MS, sisters Patricia Ann Jackson of Holly Springs, MS, and Rosalie Courson of MS. Maxine had six grandchildren, Ellen Rachel, Sara Katherine, Robert Matthew, Rachel Nicole, and Brandy Michelle King and Michael Bennett King, Jr., and one great grandchild Oliver Louis Biggs. Visitation for Maxine King will be at the Boyd Funeral Home, 101 Elizabeth St., Ashland City, TN, on Tuesday December 25, 2012 from 4 - 8pm and on Wednesday the 26th from 9 - 11am. The Funeral Service for Maxine Bennett King will be from the Chapel of the Boyd Funeral Home on Wednesday December 26, 2012 at 11:00am with Bro. Herschel Temple officiating. Burial will follow at the Dozier Cemetery on Hwy. 12-S in Ashland City. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations in honor of Maxine King be made at the Boyd Funeral Home to the Vanderbilt Cancer Center.
