Flora Nell Harris

Flora Nell Harris age 79 of Ashland City died on April 11, 2013 at her home. She was born to parents Clearance and Albertina (Morris) Binkley in Ashland City on February 5, 1934. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Clearance Ray and Mardell Binkley, sister Betty Jean Harris and grandson Marty Boyd. She is survived by her husband Jerry Douglas Harris, sons Russell (Gayle) Boyd, Rickie (Joyce) Boyd, Ronnie (Rita) Boyd, Randy (Linda) Boyd, Wayne Harris, Dean Harris and Chipper Harris, daughters June (Steve) McCormick, and sister Annie Jane Vansil. Miss Flora Nell had fifteen grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. Visitation for Flora Nell Harris will be at the Boyd Funeral Home on Saturday April 13th from 2-8pm and on Sunday the 14th from 1-4pm. The Funeral Service for Flora Neel Harris will be in the Chapel of the Boyd Funeral Home on Sunday April 14, 2013 at 4:00pm with Bro. Barry Rater officiating. Burial will follow at the Bearwallow Church of Christ Cemetery on Hwy. 249 in Ashland City. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations in honor of Miss Flora Nell be made to the American Cancer Society.
