Luddie William Van Worth 74 of Ashland City, died on Thursday October 31, 2013 at the Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, Tn. He was born on March 07, 1939 to parents Charley and Alva (Burgess) Van Worth in De Kalb, TX. He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Charles, Marion Sonny', Calvin, Alvin, Jerry and Bill Bill-BO' Van Worth, and sister Mary Sis' Van Schuyver. Luddie is survived by his wife Joyce Van Worth, son Terry (Lisa) Crisel, daughters Cindy (Michael) Hukill and Lea Ann (Michael) Stein, brother Jimmy (Emily) Van Worth, and sister Shirley (Tommy) Edge. He had two grandsons Jeremiah (Tara) Crisel and Zachariah Crisel ,U.S. Air Force, and two granddaughters Shannondoah Hukill and Karissa Powell. Visitation for Luddie W. Van Worth will be at the Boyd Funeral Home on Monday November 4th from 10am-1pm. His Funeral Service will also be on Monday starting at 1:00pm. He will be buried in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Ashland City following the service. Luddie served in the United States Army. For many years after he returned he was a farmer, and a big John Deere fan. The last few years he worked here in Ashland City at the Wal Mart in the outdoor lawn and garden area.
