Grace 'Granny' Wallace

Grace Wallace 81 of Ashland City died on Thursday January 23, 2014 at her home. She was born on July 4, 1932 in Pleasantville, in Hickman County, TN to parents Tom and Rosie (Horner) Ayers. Grace was preceded in death by her parents, husband William Wallace, daughter Glenda Parsley and Tina Spickard, and brothers Roy, Mack and Aubrey Ayers. She is survived by sons Randy, Chuck (Debbie), and Tracey Woodall and William Bill Wallace, daughters Donna (Brent) Meyers, Lisa Woodall, Rosemary Allison and Sandy Wallace Randall, sisters Vera Locke and Nell Ayers. Granny' Wallace had nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. For years she worked at Genesco Manufacturing, had been a member of the Ladies Auxiliary Nashville Post 1970, she enjoyed to crochet and for fun she enjoyed playing cards and an occasional visit to Metropolis to play the slots. Visitation for Grace Wallace will be at the Boyd Funeral Home on Sunday January 26th from 3-7pm and on Monday from 9-11. The Funeral Service for Alma Grace Granny' Wallace will be in the Chapel of the Boyd Funeral Home on Monday January 27, 2014 at 11:00am with Chaplin Mark Russell officiating.
