Betty Jane (Binkley) Ross, 86 of Ashland City passed away Sunday February 09, 2014 at Christian Care of Cheatham Co. Preceded in death by husband Byron Ross, Sr. Survived by son Byron Ross, Jr. (Heather); sister Maureen (Binkley) Dunning. Preceded in death by parents William Allen and Dora Belle Reagan Binkley; brothers Lesley H. Binkley, William Allen (Jake) Binkley, Henry (Hot) Binkley, Richard Binkley; sisters Mary Chillcott and Vivian Wright. Active Pallbearers will be Lesley H. Binkley, Jr., Will Binkley, Mike Maxey, Steve Maxey, Phil Maxey, Derek Wright, Nathan Weight and Adam Wright. Honorary Pallbearers: Cheatham Co. High School Class of 1945 and nephews. Mrs. Ross was the Cheatham County Register of Deeds from 1971-1994. She was a friend to many people and a great Christian example. She was a member of the Bethlehem Free Will Baptist Church. Visitation for Betty Ross will be at the Bethlehem Free Will Baptist Church, 1709 Hwy. 12 N, Ashland City, TN from 4-8pm on Monday February 10th and on Tuesday the 11th from 10-11am, with her funeral service starting at 11:00am. Burial will follow at the Bethlehem Cemetery.
