Sara Jane Upchurch-76 of Nashville died in her home on Monday April 28, 2014. She was born on November 24, 1937 in Nashville, TN to parents Albert and Easter (Bailey) Horton. Sara was preceded in death by her parents, daughters Wanda Faye Thompson, Elizabeth Parnell, Becky Meadows and Linda Faye Horton. She is survived by her husband Billy Ray Upchurch, sons Terry and Jerry Upchurch, daughters Lisa Thompson, Vickie Asberry, Sisters May Francis Strauss, Laura Horton, Shirley Bess, fourteen Grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. Visitation for Sara will be at the Boyd Funeral Home on Wednesday April 29th from 4-8pm and on Thursday from 10am.
