Deborah Jean Carter- 61 of Ashland City died on Friday June 20, 2014 at the Hillcrest Nursing Home in Ashland City. Deborah was born on Valentine's Day, February 14, 1953 in Nashville TN to parents Billy and Doris (Cole) Duffle. She was preceded in death by her mother, husband Billy Wayne Carter, and two great grandchildren Noah Cox, and Angel Cooper. Deborah is survived by her father, Billy Duffel, sons Kenny Ervin and Skott Slayton, daughters Marilyn Holland and Regina Ervin, brother Chuck Cracker, sisters Stacey (Terry) Webb and Kim (James) Moore, six grandchildren Lillie Ervin, Amanda Cooper, Tiffany Carter, Savannah Carter, Billie Cooper, Carter Holland, and seven great grandchildren. Deborah had been a nurse and a Pre-school teacher. Visitation for Deborah Carter will be at the Boyd Funeral Home on Monday June 23rd from 4-8pm and on Tuesday from 10am-12 noon.
