Mary Elizabeth McCord -84 of Ashland City, TN passed away on Saturday December 20, 2014 at the Hillcrest Nursing Home in Ashland City. She was born to parents Samuel and Jeppie (Gill) Hooper on February 24, 1930 in Ashland City, TN. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, and husband Elbert McCord. She is survived by daughter Mary Patricia McCord, sister Margret Cox and several nieces and nephews. Visitation for Mary will be at the Boyd Funeral Home on Monday December 22nd from 3-7pm. and Tuesday from 1:30-2:30pm. Her funeral service will be at 2:30pm with burial to follow at the Greenbrier Church of Christ Cemetery on Hwy. 49 in Ashland City.
