Albert 'Materhead' Barfield -73

Albert Materhead' Barfield -73, of Ashland City, passed away on Thursday March 05, 2015 at his home. Materhead' was born on September 9, 1941 to parents Leonard and Elizabeth (Scudder) Barfield in Nashville, TN. He served his country in the United States Army, and later was a contractor, and a builder of homes. He is preceded in death by his parents, and brother Leonard Eugene Barfield. He is survived by his wife Martha Barfield, daughters Wendy Wayman, Sandy Bell, sister Dorothy Shadowens, three grandchildren Joshua Bell, Jennifer Rose Wayman, Brady Bell, and two great grandsons Joshua Brooks Bell and Kolton Blake Wayman. Memorials in honor of Albert Barfield may be made to the Monroe Carell, Jr. Vanderbilt Children's Hospital , or to any charity of your choice. Visitation for Albert Materhead' Barfield will be at the Boyd Funeral Home on Saturday March 7th from 4-8pm and on Sunday from 11 until time of service at 2pm, with Bro. Steven Sellars officiating.
