Joe William Moore, 78 of Ashland City, passed away on Sunday June 14, 2015 at St. Thomas Hospital West in Nashville, TN. Joe was born on April 17, 1937 in Nashville, TN to parents Henry and Elva (Strong) Moore. He is survived by sons Billy Joe (Donna) Moore, Ricky Dale Moore, daughter Diane Corky (Mike) Welfel, grandchildren Renee (Jason) McClain, Jenni (Josh) Bracey, Tabitha Moore, Josh (Lauren) Moore, great grandchildren Cassie Moore, Paige Thompson, Caiden Thompson, Mason Moore, Aiden Moore, Evie Moore. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Lorene G. Moore. For many years, Joe loved and raised trophy beagles. Visitation for Joe Moore will be at the Boyd Funeral Home on Tuesday June 16th from 4-8pm and on Wednesday from 10 till time of service @12:00, with Bro Gene Parton officiating. Following the service we will proceed by escort to the Harpeth Hills Memorial Gardens in Nashville for a 2:00pm burial. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to help with funeral expenses be made to the Boyd Funeral Home.
