Dorothy Geraldine Puckett age 72 of Cheatham County passed away on Sunday October 18, 2015 at the Hillcrest Nursing Home in Ashland City, TN. She was born on July 9, 1943 in Nashville, TN to parents Alvin and Margaret (Allen) Binkley. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, and daughter Elsie Regina Puckett. She is survived by her son Mike (Brandy) Cochran, daughter Londa Dooley, sister Flora Belle Nipper, and four grandchildren Joshua Hallums, Brian Dooley, Tiphani Cochran and Brendan Cochran. Visitation for family and friends will be at the Boyd Funeral Home on Tuesday October 20th from 4 - 8pm and on Wednesday from 9am till time of service at 11:00am. Burial will follow at the Friendship Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery on Bearwallow Rd. in Ashland City.
