"L J" Leslie Matlock, Jr. age 88 of Ashland City passed away at his residence on Wednesday October 28, 2015. He was born on July 3, 1927 in Nashville, TN to parents Leslie J. and Bessie Mae Matlock, Sr. "L J" served in the United States Army, and later was well known for his many years as a local Real Estate agent. He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter Patricia Matlock Ferguson. He is survived by his wife of 67 years Joyce Matlock, sons Johnny (Pam) Matlock, Jeffrey (Melissa) Matlock, brother Jimmy (Sue) Matlock, nine grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and one great-great Grandchild. Visitation for "L J" Matlock will be at the Boyd Funeral Home on Thursday the 29th from 2 - 8pm. On Friday the 30th, his visitation will be at the Ashland City United Methodist Church from 9 till time of service at 11am with Dr, Tom Binford and Bro. Pete Furnier officiating.
