Dale P. Waffird -72

Dale Preston Waffird age 72 of Ashland City, TN passed away on Sunday November 1, 2015 at his home. Dale was born on November 29, 1942 to parents William and Myrtle (Honeycutt) Waffird in Nashville, TN. He retired from the TN Highway Dept. and later worked several years as a driver for Mid Cumberland Transportation. Dale was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Wanda Waffird, brothers Howard, Dewey, Charlie, Edward, and Bill Wafffird, and sister Marie Swaner. He is survived by his wife of 55 years Alice Waffird, son Willie (Vickie) Waffird, daughter Lisa Waffird, , brother Horace (Mary) Waffird, grandchildren Brittney (Steven) Dodd, Lance Waffird, great grandchildren Kissandra Dodd, Dakota Dodd and Jackson Garrett. Visitation for Dale Waffird was at the Boyd Funeral Home on Tuesday November 3rd from 10am till time of service at 2:00pm with Bro. Dewey Keys officiating.
