James C. Pickett -83

On April 8th 2016, James (Jimmy) Cleveland Pickett age 83 peacefully went to heaven. He was born on July 10, 1932 in Clarksville, TN. He is survived by Elizabeth (Liz) Pickett, his wife of fourteen years. He was preceded in death by Gladys Virginia (Jenny) Hooper Pickett of forty one years and the mother of his four children. He is survived by daughters Susan Pickett (Melvin) Felts, Leslie Picket, Jackie Pickett, son Jerry (Marie) Pickett, grandson Jeremy Pickett, and step children Cynthia Banks and Freddie Rice. Jimmy enjoyed fishing as a past time since he retired from State Industries (A.O. Smith) and he always enjoyed westerns as a past time. Pallbearers: Jerry Pickett, Jeremy Pickett, Clint Johnson, Drew Johnson, Leroy Tidwell and Lee Tidwell. Visitation will be at the Boyd Funeral Home 101 Elizabeth St. Ashland City, TN. 37015 615-792-4677 on Monday April 11th from 4-7pm and on Tuesday from 10 till time of service at 12:00 noon.
