Joyce E. Hollis -84

Joyce E. Hollis 84 of Ashland City, passed away on Monday August 1, 2016 at the Hillcrest Nursing Home. She was born on April 26, 1932 in Ashland City to parents Lillard and Gracie Mai (Reeves) Williams. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, husband William Hollis, son Daniel Hollis, daughter Glenda Jackson and brother Garvis Williams. She is survived by son William O. (Ginger) Hollis, daughter Felecia (George) Stephens, brother Glendon Waydell (Beverly) Williams, sisters Macellena Binkley, Voncille (James) Tuttle, sister-in-law Katherine Williams, fifteen grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren. Joyce worked many years at the Acme Boot Co. and for the Cheatham Co. School System and enjoyed the years she was a Sunday School Teacher at the Bethel Church. Visitation for Joyce Hollis was at the Boyd Funeral Home 101 Elizabeth St. Ashland City on Wednesday August 3, 2016 from 4:00 - 8:00pm, Thursday from 10:00am till time of Service at 12:00 with Bro.
