Aubrey Roy Burgess, 78 of Ashland City passed away on Thursday November 10, 2016 at the Alive Hospice in Nashville, TN. Aubrey was born on January 23, 1938 to parents Jody and Lenora (Meadows) Burgess in Ashland City. He was preceded in death by his parents, son Aubrey Burgess, Jr., and several brothers and sisters. Aubrey is survived by his son Ben (Ces) Burgess, daughters Barbara Burgess and Pam (Don) Redden, brother Billy Ray Burgess, grandchildren Jordan and Sydney Redden, Cadence and Kelvin Burgess, and great grandson Isaak Redden. Aubrey was a retired iron worker and he was active in several community organizations and proudly served in the United States Army. Visitation for Aubrey Burgess will be at the Boyd Funeral Home 101 Elizabeth St. Ashland City, TN 37015 on Monday November 14th from 10am till time of service at 12:00 noon.
