Marion Ray Strunk -91

Mr. Marion Ray Strunk, 91 of Ashland City passed away on Wednesday February 22, 2017 at the Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, Tn. He was born in Burnside, Kentucky on July 23, 1925 to the late Arch and Dova (Flynn) Strunk. Ray was preceded in death by his parents, son Douglas Kay Strunk, daughters Qwendolyn Sue Strunk, Marilyn Raye Strunk Baker, brothers Abe Strunk and Chet Strunk and sister Retha Adkins. He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Jackie Strunk, sons Michael Wayne (Mary) Strunk and Steven Lane (Lisa) Strunk, eight grandchild and ten great grandchildren. Ray retired as a Civil Engineer from the Corps of Engineers, after serving his country in the U.S. Army during WWll. The family will receive visitors at the Boyd Funeral Home on Thursday February 23rd from 4 till 7pm and on Friday from 11am till the time of his service at 1pm with Bro. Leon Edwards officiating.
