Ralph “Redbone” Johnson, 59 of Ashland City, TN passed away on Sunday June 18, 2017 at his home. Redbone was born on June 1, 1958 to the late Archie and Pansy Lee (Turner) Johnson in Knoxville, TN. He was survived by his wife Carol Johnson, sons Joseph, William, and Christopher Johnson, daughter Michelle Johnson, brothers Michael (Kathy) Johnson, Terry (Colleen) Johnson, and Tim (Rosie) Johnson, sisters Teresa (Rusty) Thomason and Debbie (Robbie) Kunz, fifteen grandchildren Alex, Caleb, Jasmine, Chelsie, Christy, Michael, Chevy, Holley, Wayne, Archie, Hayden, Aeryn, Michael, Matthew and Dillion. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Archie Johnson, and grandson Cameron. Redbone was an avid motorcycle enthusiast and loved to ride. Visitation for Ralph “Redbone” Johnson will be at the Boyd Funeral Home 101 Elizabeth St. Ashland City, TN 37015 on Friday June 23rd from 4 – 8pm and on Saturday from 10am till service at 2:00pm. Cremation will follow at the Richlawn Crematory in Waverly TN. The family has requested in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Boyd Funeral Home to go towards expenses.
