Ken Smith -78

Ken Smith, 78 of Ashland City passed away on Tuesday September 19, 2017 at his home. Ken was born on July 12, 1939 to the late Verbon L. and Jesse (Mizell) Smith in Gadsden, AL. He is survived by his wife Wilda Smith, son Shannon (Cathy) Smith, daughter Kendra (Jeffrey) Cannon, grandchildren Kelsie Smith (Corey) Krantz, Leigh Ellen Cannon, Jessica Carrie Smith, Abbigail Garland Cannon, Emily Mae Cannon and Caroline Eva Cannon, and great grandson Houston David Krantz. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister Karen Thomas. Ken worked as a Civil Engineer after graduating from the University of Alabama. He remained a huge Bama fan while also enjoying golf as often as possible. The one day visitation for Ken Smith will be at the Boyd Funeral Home 101 Elizabeth St. Ashland City, TN 37015 on Friday September 22nd, 2017 from 2:00pm till the time of his service at 5:00pm with Bro.
