Terry L. Mayo -74

Terry Lee Mayo, 74 of Murray KY. Passed away on Saturday September 23, 2017 at the Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, TN. Terry was born on July 25, 1943 to the late Jessie E. and Ona A. (Davis) Mayo in Ashland City, TN. He was survived by his wife of 40 years, Pat B. (Boruff) Mayo, daughter Terri L. Hurst, brother Don Mayo, sisters June Davenport, Iris Skelton (Harold), and Mary E. Brown, grandsons Jacob and Justin Hurst, mother-in-law Kathryn Boruff, numerous nieces and nephews, and Terry’s baby, his dog ‘Dolly Madison’. He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Jessie Ray and Kenneth Mayo, and sisters Elwin Norris and Lois Taylor. The family would like special thanks to go to friends Jim Byrd, Jim Denoles and Lloyd English. Terry loved sports, fishing and was an active member of the Masons. In lieu of flowers, family and friends may give a donation in memory of Terry to the Cheatham Co. Animal Control, 2797 Sam’s Creek Rd, Pegram, TN 37143. The one day visitation for Terry L. Mayo will be at the Boyd Funeral Home 101 Elizabeth St. Ashland City, 37015 on Thursday September 28th from 11am till 2pm. The Graveside Service will follow with Bro.
