Cora I. Cothran -82

Cora Idella Cothran, 82 of Ashland City, passed away on Tuesday January 23, 2018 at the Alive Hospice Residence in Murfreesboro, TN. Cora was born on April 21, 1935 to the late Clyde and Margaret (Luttrell) Slaughter in Columbia, TN. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 54 years, James William Cothran, Sr, two brothers and one sister. She was survived by son Jim W. Cothran, Jr. daughters Cynthia Colleen (Joseph) McAlpin and Le Anne (Gary) Webber, grandchildren James M. Cothran, J.R. Webber, and Katie Warta, and great grandchildren Taylor Cothran, Michael Cothran, Garrett Webber, Kalynn Cothran, Kalvin Webber, William Cothran and Sophia Warta, with several nieces and nephews. Visitation for Cora Cothran will be at the Boyd Funeral Home 101 Elizabeth St. Ashland City, TN. 37015 on Thursday January 25, 2018 from 3:00 to 7:00 pm, and on Friday from 10:00 till time of service at 12:00 with Pastor Rosie Pitt officiating.
